A little nature walk is always good for the soul, so here are some places to do just that during the colorful fall season.
Chaudière Falls Park
Distance from Montreal: 2 hours and 40 minutes
Why you need to add it to your to-do list: Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière has both hiking and biking trails, so it’s a great place for walkers and cyclists . There is also a 35 meter high waterfall to amaze you.
Mont-Mégantic National Park
Distance from Montreal: 2 hours and 35 minutes
Why you need to add it to your to-do list: This national park has 20 kilometers of beautiful hiking trails, so not only will you fall in love with the colors of the changing leaves, but you’ll also have a sick workout in it.
Delaney Falls
Location: Bras-du-Nord Trail, Quebec
Distance from Montreal: 3 hours and 15 minutes
Why you need to add it to your bucket: If you like chasing waterfalls, this 7.7 kilometer trail is the perfect place to do just that.
Parc de la Chute-Montmorency
Distance from Montreal: 2 hours and 40 minutes
Why you need to add it to your to-do list: This place is a Quebec classic, you won’t want to pass up another fall season without hiking to the waterfall in Parc de la Chute-Montmorency.
Frontenac National Park
Distance from Montreal: 2 hours and 45 minutes
Why you should add it to your to-do list: A little trip to the Eastern Townships is always worth it. And the hiking trail in this national park gives you all the colorful views your heart desires.
Mont Ouareau
Distance from Montreal: 1h45
Why you need to add it to your bucket list: This mountain in Saint-Donat is simply stunning. The short hike is said to be quite difficult, but it will be worth it once you see the view from the top.
